Enemy #68
sans
1 ATK 1 DEF
The easiest enemy.
Can only deal 1 damage.

Sans' most common method of attack involves summoning bones as projectiles, much like his brother. Deceptively harmless, the bones do inflict meager amounts of damage, but have a few effects to them which make them deadly. They travel at high speed and ignore defense, meaning everyone struck by them is guaranteed to take 1 damage, but deal 1 damage several times a second, and combined with the sheer number of bones, the damage accumulates rapidly and is quite substantial even if it only hits once or twice. The bones also inflict an HP drain status, similar to a typical poison effect in any standard RPG (although no poison is involved in his attack) meaning on top of initial damage, damage continues to be inflicted over time. Another method of attacking with them spawns them out of solid surfaces, which he tends to use on those afflicted with his blue attack so they have a harder time escaping.

Sans' other means of attacking is through the use of his personal weapon, the gaster blaster. They take the form of large draconic skulls capable of firing lasers out of their mouths; they move fast and fire their attacks just as quickly, and the same rules apply to them as his bones. Ignores defense and inflicts HP Drain, as well as building up damage a lot faster than his bones due to the fact that the blasts are a continuous stream of magical energy, rather than a single projectile. They come in varying sizes, and the size of the skull itself also indicates how large the incoming blast will be.

Sans also has a unique status he can inflict on someone referred to his blue attack. In essence, it shifts the direction of their personal gravity - as seen above, they could stick to the ceiling or even fall continuously sideways. It also slows them down and negates their ability to fly, but they can jump still if they put some effort into it. If he focuses, Sans can even use this to rapidly fling his opponent around with enough force to damage them, similar to telekinesis.
